Getting a Linking Code and Signing In
Linking gives you visibility into one student's progress, results, teacher feedback and consent forms. This lesson covers the most common way to link: a school-issued linking code.

Linking a student to your account starts with getting a linking code from your school — your school issues these, and each one is single-use and expires after a period your school sets, so don't sit on it too long. Once you have the code, sign in at parent.ai2n.ai, open Linked Students, and select Link a Student. You'll be prompted to enter the code there, and that kicks off the linking process, which we'll finish in the next lesson.
Key points
- You need a parent/guardian account at parent.ai2n.ai before you can link a student.
- Linking codes are single-use and expire — if yours doesn't work, ask your school for a new one rather than retrying repeatedly.
- Some schools instead approve link requests directly — check with your school which method they use.
